About Transcription
Upload a recording and Whisper writes out what was said, with automatic language detection across 19 languages. Switch the task to translation and you get an English transcript regardless of the source language. Turn on word-level timestamps for a per-word breakdown plus a second .srt with one cue per word — useful for karaoke-style captions or frame-accurate subtitle editing.
